From October 26 to November 4 you have again the opportunity to enjoy a menu of haute cuisine for only 25 euros, during the celebration of Madrid Restaurant Week 2012.

For ten days, in this gastronomic event that is celebrated in its fifth edition in Madrid, you can enjoy special menus in up to 40 of the best restaurants from the city and surroundings.

The initiative of Restaurant Week it was first held in 1992 in New York, simultaneously to Fashion Week, and currently takes place in more than one hundred cities around the world, such as London, Washington, Sao Paulo and Amsterdam.

In Spain, the Restaurant Week It took place for the first time in Madrid in October 2009, with the participation of 25 restaurants, and subsequently it has also been held in Barcelona and Seville. The last edition in Madrid took place last March.

During the Madrid Restaurant Week 2012, Each participating restaurant offers us a menu of single price of 25 euros, with dishes to choose from for the entree, main course, and dessert. This price represents a significant reduction compared to the usual price of a la carte dinner in these restaurants, which ranges between 40 and 80 euros.

This price does not include drinks or VAT, and 1 euro of the amount is destined to charities, specifically in this edition, the Food Bank of Madrid and the Spanish Heart Foundation.

Among the restaurants participating in this new edition in Madrid are The Café de Oriente, Gate 57, The corner, Samarkand, Me, Verdil, New Gerardo or Nemesio House.
